Old Places

Whenever I'm photographing old houses I get the feeling that I'm being watched. And that if I look up quickly enough, I'll see a face in an upper window looking back at me. This was the case with a house I shot last weekend. I kept glancing up and guess what.

The house is my photography. The model is from another shoot done Saturday by the very talented photographer crisis_averted. Go over to her journal and check out the last two posts. When I saw the model shots I knew it would fit perfectly with one of the house shots I'd done so with a little bit of creative masking in PhotoShop, we have what we have. The rest of the pics from this house shoot will be posted later today in rural_ruin

Peace,

Wander

It freaked Deb out when I showed her. She thanked me for showing it to her right before she went to bed last night. Then smacked me in the back of the head.

You spend enough time shooting old houses you actually start seeing things like this...or think you do.

The house was really cool anyway but the model just really made the shot. almost like she was meant to be there.

I was elk hunting in Colorado and I came out on the Continental Divide above Saguache, CO. I was resting when I saw this little old man standing next to an old dead tree. I was pretty sure right away he was a ghost because he was sort of fading in and out. I talked to him for a bit and found out he had been prospecting for gold somewhere near when his little mine shaft had caved in and killed him. I asked him if I could take his picture and he smiled and said I could but he didn't know if he would show up or not. So I took the following photo.

and here is a closeup:

This was before digital camera were big so this is shot on film. No PhotoShop enhancement though.
