Excuse me oh Winter Spirits

I know you've been lying dormant since April and now you want to flex your muscles and rain snow and ice down on our mortal heads. But it makes for a bad commute in the dark, over highways that are already congested due to construction projects. So would it be too much to ask if you just held off on the 6 inches of snow overnight until it actually is Winter? Go pick on the East Coast. They need some moisture.

I'm just sayin'.

Haha oh we're getting some here on the East Coast.

Maybe not 6 inches. But the weather is getting worse and snow has been falling all day.

My condolences. I remember East Coast winter snows and ice storms.

Hey! I'll have you know my 2+ hour (14 mile)commute was brought to us by 1-2 inches of steady flurries this morning!

I mean, that has more to do with the humans than the winter spirits, but still... just sayin' ;)

Here! Here! Here! Send it here! Snow! Snow! Snow! (There's a bit up in the high peaks - you can see it from town - but not enough, not enough, and my snowshoes are lonesome.

The stuff we are supposed to get this Sunday I'll send your way then. The stuff from last night is hitting NY now I think.

Specify southeast. Northeast is hogging all of the snow.

*stomps off grumbling about droughts and no snow*

How could they possibly think they have the best time zone when they have to wake up two hours earlier than I?

I envy your time zone and it's only an hour different from mine.

We were having a drought until the rain on Saturday and now the snow. I noticed at my farm though, it soaked right in. I was hoping it would fill up my new duck pond.

Don't forget where you live. The whole state shuts down for snow! No commute! No work! Just play in the delightful coldness.

Except for me because I have online classes that shut down for no weather. Snow holds off until Tuesday.

Which state were you referring to that shuts down for snow? Certainly not Illinois.

NC obviously. We have five snowplows and we don't know how to use them.

Ah yes, I "fondly" remember NC winters. Threat of snow and all the bread and milk sells out at the grocery store.

Snow plus Non-Native drivers equals 3 car pile-up on Route 66 and no fun on the drive in....your little snow danced worked, we got it, now be nice and take it back so I can finish my holiday shopping. GRIN

I'm not sure you got our snow. I think the New Yorkers exported it to you. I'll send it to NM next time. They need it.
