Wandering again

I know it seems like I just got back but I'll be wandering again soon. I'm leaving Chicagoland on the 19th and making a stop in Columbus, OH for lunch with former co-workers and friends. Then on to Eastern Ohio around Wheeling, WV. If the weather is good, I'l lstay the night and take family cemetery photos in the morning of the 20th. If not, I'll just keep heading for the DC area. On the 20th I'll be with friends in Manassas, VA. On the 21st, I head down to Roanoke to spend the weekend with the lovely and mysterious jelly_fish. We plan to spend some time kite flying and checking out her family's winery.

Nice to have a friend with a winery.

By the night of the 23rd I'll be back in Manassas. On the 24th I will be going up to Warrenton to see my medium friend Bonny so I can get my yearly reading.

I'm awaiting word from the folks for Turkey Day plans. If none are forthcoming, I'll be staying in Northern Virginia until the 28th and then heading to Lenoir, NC for Shawnee Winter Council. Then I'm supposed to meet Mom somewhere so she can drive back home with me via the Southern Route through Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois.

If the folks make plans for me then I may be leaving NOVA on the 26th and heading down to the NC coast for Turkey Day. If anyone wants a visit, let me know and I'll see what I can work out. I'll be in NC again for a week at Christmas if I miss you this trip.

Peace,

Wander

Ya Know - sometime you are in NC - I'd really like to meet you!! We have been on each other FL for sooo long - it would be really fun to have a nice one on one visit. I'll be in PA over Thanksgiving but will be in Charlotte over Christmas - would really enjoy a conversation. Hey maybe I could work in a visit to Greensboro and meet Ryl while I'm about it. Think about it..

Miss Ryl actually lives in Greenville, not Greensboro. I'll be in Lexington at some point over Christmas so I'd be happy to come down and meet you and not just your car.

If you went to Greensboro you'd meet my sisters. But I'm planning a trip to China Grove to see my dad at Thanksgiving. I could might perhaps squeeze in a trip through Spaghetti Junction Charlotte?

Wheeling is a beautiful city if you have some time to check it out. :)

I've been through it several times. Just depends on how bad the weather sucks when I go through if I'll stop and see all the sights or not.

I talked with the former person in the job today and got some perspective. I have an interview with the company president Friday for an hour. That should be the deciding factor.

Safe travel. If you need anything while in this area, let me know. You already have a great support system here, but one more can't hurt, right?
