I've always loved buskers, especially the more clever and creative ones. It sounds as though he was one of the best. I've never really understood this sort of senseless violence...

When I was in Seattle was the week that the guy entered a party with a shotgun and killed a bunch of kids. It was on National news for a few days. Just no explanation at all for this sort of thing.

I tend to associate certain types of music with certain cities because of the buskers.

The buskers have always played a pretty wide variety of music, everywhere I've been. But I suppose a few of them do stand out. I can't Remember Chicago, for instance, without thinking of the guy pounding the tribal drums down on the subway platform, the sound echoing seemingly forever.

The last day I went to Pike Place Market in Seattle it was the old guys playing War protest songs. That's what I remember most about that day.

I agree...senseless violence who robbed the world of someone really special.
