Halloweenie

It looses some of it's impact when you have to explain what you are dressed as. It wasn't the geekiest costume at work today though. I'm one of the guests from the Goblin Ball in Labyrinth.

You certainly should rent the DVD. I truly hope they don't make a sequel but they keep talking about it. Salieri would have been a good guess too. I was also thinking of Eyes Wide Shut but I couldn't find a proper hood with cowl.

Depending on who you talk to it's either a great movie or a horrible movie. I could have done without Nicole Kidman. She can't act her way out of a wet paper bag. But I loved the costuming.

I agree it's a great movie, but I don't think it turned out the way Kubrick would've done it had he lived to finish it. I do love the costumes in it, too.

I'll keep the costume as it would be good for other things. Next year though, I'll hire someone to do a complete costume for me. The party scene from Eyes Wide Shut is another good one to get costumes from.

Well, at least you didn't pick Jennifer Connelly's left sock.

There were some people who chose really off the wall costumes that they had to explain in elaborate detail to people.

Amazing! Labyrinth is one of my favorite movies! I wish we could have balls like that for real.

They have one out in LA apparently.

It wouldn't be that hard to stage one if you had some creative friends. Might be hard to find real goblins but...

I bought that mask last year because a friend was supposed to have a masked erotic ball but it ended up getting cancelled.
