I'm a wandering fool and seer of sights. My whole life has been spent moving and traveling. The road is the one place I can truly call home and where I feel most at peace. I pick up stones and friends wherever I go.

I'm half owner of a working model of the 10th Doctor's TARDIS though I'm not as huge a fan of Doctor Who as a lot of people. We are currently trying to make it actually function in its full capacity.

I don't follow a particular religious path but I am a shamanic practitioner. As a healer, I specialize in distance healing with stones and crystals as well as journeywork.

I'm a jewelry designer and professional photographer and owner of Bear Dancer Studios I show my art photography in more than 60 gallery exhibitions across the USA every year. I am currently represented by Cimarron Blue Gallery in Cimarron, NM.

In 2007 I was able to prove my Shawnee and Kickapoo Native heritage and was accepted to full membership in the Shawnee Nation Southeastern Alliance in Lenoir, NC where I now serve as Hawk Clan Chief.

I'm a licensed pyrotechnician and help stage several municipal fireworks shows throughout Central Illinois each Summer.

I split my time between a small family-owned farm near Rushville, IL and Dubuque, IA where I own a home and until recently, worked in educational publishing.

I'm currently looking for my next big adventure on this Path called Life.

"THE GUEST HOUSE"

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
