More Fishing

It's been a really busy week so I've not posted as much. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel after working on this book for nearly 2 years now. As soon as it's over, I'm taking 9 days vacation and heading out west for an adventure. I've not had a solo travelling adventure in soooo long. i'm really looking forward to it.

In random news. A flock of 25 or so Canada Geese walked past our office today. I got several pics with my digital and downloaded them so the whole office could see. I think they were walking because the juveniles had not learned to fly as yet. They all have thier feathers though so it should be soon. I'm always amazed that geese would choose to raise a family in the midst of this city. They were heading for a small lake just a few streets behind us. They brushed past my legs like they didn't have a care in the world. It was really cool.

I'll likely be fishing this weekend again and gardening as well. I'm going down to the farm alone as Deb wants to stay and watch our older cat who has been sick lately. They catheterized him the other day at the vet and I don't think he's quite forgiven us yet for that.

If you want to see pics from our fishing trip last weekend and what I'll probably be doing again tomorrow, Go Here

Peace,

Wander

If you can ever find it, you should rent the Fishing with John DVD. It's hilarious!!
I live by a large park where a few heavy traffic streets run by. Ocassionally, traffic stops whenever a line of geese walk through without heed to anything.

Re:
They just seem so out of place but it's so cool that they can survive around here.

Re:
Yeah, what this state lacks in mild temperatures, it makes up for in sunsets and sunrises.

Re:
I won't but that's more of a given. I'll be coming east around the end of the year again. I'll try to get up that way.

That looks like a lot of fun. More fun than is possible around here.

Re:
Wow, I've never seen it that dry before. Of course the west is very dry too. Not sure if I'd rather go west or east right now.

Personally--and this is just me--I would go underground. It's nice and cool farther down until you hit the mantle.
