What I liked best...

Know what I like best about the Southwest? My hair stays straight. I have naturally curly hair and here in the midwest with all the humidity, i have to put tons of styling gell on it in the morning to have any hope in Hell of keeping it from looking like a red afro before the end of the day. And especially with my long hair, it can be a bitch. Out there on vacation, I only kept it tied in a pony tail one day. The rest of the days I let it hang free and it was great, it just flowed down over my shoulders and stayed where it was supposed to. Guess I'm going to have to move back there again.

More to come...

No humidity is such a good thing. I don't want to sound like I'm dropping place names or anything, because I'm not. This was the only time I've had experience with that miraculous feeling known as "no summer humidity". Having said that, when I was in Greece I didn't know it was over 100 degrees until someone told me. It felt like 80 because it was nice and dry. Coming back home was an unpleasant reminder of moisture in the air.

Re:
There was one day out there when it was 90 but there was a light breeze blowing and it felt like 72 degrees. I often wonder why I ever left there. But then I remember....employment!
