I'm here...

and awake sort of. We are actually working today after 2.5 snow days. More snow this weekend predicted. OK, I'm officially tired of the snow. I know we need the moisture since we are still low from the drought of 99 but I think we could accomplish the same thing with a nice cold rain. One of the good things about it being this cold (it's going to hit a high of 15 degrees today), is it will kill all of the nasty little crawly things like ticks and fleas and chiggers so the chance of Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever will be a lot less next year. That's a good thing for walks in the woods and sweat lodge ceremonies and outdoors meditating on the Medicine Wheel. And when we do our fireworks show on July 7 for the Christian Rock Festival, we will not go home with ankles swollen from chigger bites. My jewelry business has gone international now. I'm making 4 pieces for a lady in Germany. Should be interesting to try and get them to her by Christmas so I guess I'll be hard at work this weekend. Not looking forward to all the work I have today but I best get started if I'm to get anything done.

Peace,

Wander

International, eh???
That's great! I've been to your web site but would love to see more of your work.

You can send the snow here. It beats ice.

Where in NC are your parents living?

Re: International, eh???
The P units live at Atlantic Beach or pretty darned close to it anyway. I want their house damnit! Dad called to say it was nearly 60 yesterday. I hate him sometimes. I'm going to be scanning much of our jewelry today and putting more samples online tonight so I'll update my journal and let people know.

Peace,

Wander

Re: Snow?
I'll trade your 35 degrees for our 10 degrees any day. At least my POS car would start easier.
