More Pretties

Before I FedEx these out, I thought I'd show everyone what I worked on last night.

Beautiful beads, great job!

What sort of wire/thread do you use for your necklaces?

Thanks, on the wire, any where from .015 to .022 7 strand tiger tail wire. Mostly I use .018 unless I'm using heavy glass or shell beads which have a tendancy to wear on the wire. Then I use .022. For my "native" necklaces I use hand braided (by me) artificial sinew. Deb makes a lot of necklaces with sterling or gold chain and jump rings.

Mmm, the 3rs one does it for me - I like the more delicate touch. I'm annoyed I can't pick most of the stones in these from the photos =(

The 3 r's symbol is called a triskele. It's a Celtic symbol. The stones are malachite, amethyst, hematite and sterling silver. The mottled green stones in the otehr necklaces is Connemara Marble which comes from Ireland.

WOW. Your work is quite stunning. I am particularly drawn to the charm in the first pic. But I suppose thats its intent.

Excellent work.

Thanks. See I think it's a preference thing. I was much more drawn to the double dragon pendant than the triskele. everyone has their favorites I guess.

I like all the green. It's very Irish.

This has absolutely nothing to do with jewelry, but I thought you'd get a kick out of this: http://spamusement.com/index.php/comics/view/188

Bwahahahahaha! Funny as hell. I'll refrain from showing that to DEb though. Thanks for the compliment. It's all very Celtic so Irish by default I guess.

So how you feeling. I did some research on ITP but nothing really tells me how it makes a person feel.
