Tonight was spent in quality time with duskfrog. We hit a Family Constellations demo that got pretty intense. I got to participate and it was very interesting to see all the dynamics going on. It was also hard to not want to reach out more and participate in the healing but I managed. Then I took a chance and let her take me to dinner at an Indian place. I'd never eaten Indian food before. I got the Butter Masala on Veggies with rice and a Mango juice. So OK, I have to admit it was pretty darn good. I'm supposed to try sushi on Friday night. I've never tried that either. I'm just breaking out of my shell all over the place here.

Tomorrow I'll be headed back down to Olympia and Tumwater for some family exploring and then all the way out on the Olympic Penninsula to spend the night. I want to find a misty seaside town with some nice rural ruins and crusty old locals and just soak up the atmosphere.

Tonight going into the local QFC food store I gave my last $3 cash to a homeless woman who was seated outside. It rained today and it was cool tonight. It seemed like the right thing to do. On the way out I told her to try and keep warm and she said if it didn't rain again she would be OK. I wish her luck with the not raining thing.

So does that mean we're on for tomorrow night?

And yay for Indian food! I like to take people to my favorite restaurant (Cedar's on Brooklyn) and introduce them to it there, or out to a lunch buffet and watch them gorge on food they swore they wouldn't like. ^__^

We are on for tomorrow night and K is going to get in touch with you today about where and what time. And Hey, it was the Cedars we went to. How funny. I have to save, the reason I nevr tried it before is all the places around where I live are seedy little dives wheere I wouldn't take a chance on the food even if it were just mac and cheese. I really did enjoy and and I'm still alive today so it's all good.

I have a guest coming over tonight for dinner, etc., and possibly two people to come and take some furniture off of my hands. My schedule tomorrow, and please pass this along to K, is basically the same as most days. I get off work in the Int'l District at 4:30, I catch a bus to pick up Ana in Ballard at 5:30. Where we go from there is entirely dependent upon where we're eating. I'm not sure where I Love Sushi is located, but I've heard it's really good. Expect that any place we go to outside of Ballard or the U-District is going to take at least 45 minutes of travel time. So for us good locations: downtown Seattle, downtown Ballard, the Ave in the U-District, any major restaurant in Wallingford along the 45th St. strip, and so on. ^__^

Phone numbers and contact info on my LJ and in my profile. Be well!

hey beautiful. got the info. :)
I've been a grade-A top-notch lurker lately. :P

My #1 favorite sushi place is Mori on 85th in Greenwood, and #2 is Blue C in Fremont. I guess it would be pretty easy to just come pick you and Ana up at 5:30 in Ballard and whisk us all off to wherever we decide. That work for you?

Sounds great, and I LOVE Mori. I had them deliver to my apartment in Ballard after my surgery in 2000. So, yes, um. We'll be at the Ballard Community Center at 5:30pm (I'll probably be just arriving to get Ana's coat on, etc.). Location: 6020 28th Ave NW. Give my cell phone a call if you have trouble finding us, or you're going to be late. Thanks!

You're an amazing person. Just to let you know.
I'd love to have you come visit me sometime so I can take you around Austin.
I hope you like sushi! It's one of my favorites.

I've actually been trying to get down to Austin for awhile. Perhaps this summer it will work out. If it does I'll give you a call. I've got several friends in Austin I'd like to visit with.

Posted also to my journal and commented in K's journal, but um ... need to slightly change plans, and I don't have any phone numbers!

We won't be at the BCC at 5:30, but can meet you at Mori directly (two buses, easy ride from our house) around 6pm, if that's ok?

Call me at home and on cell to reach me. Leave messages and/or email. Just want to know that you get this and that we're still on for tonight at Mori. Thanks! *hugs*
