This Friday and Saturday I'll be meeting with artist Susi Lulaki in Kansas City to figure out if I'm the right one to help her get her book project off the ground. She's going to show me around the KC art scene. That will be fun.

Sunday I'm headed down to Strong City, KS to meet finally with chimerae and get a taste of that part of Kansas.

Next Wednesday, I have 2 interviews in Burr Ridge, IL for Project Manager positions with McGraw-Hill. I also applied for that VP job. I've not heard back on that one yet. The division head that will be interviewing me is impressed with my photo editing experience. Yippee!

Best o' luck to ye. Sounds like some pretty good leads.

Strong City. Hmm. It's on U.S. Route 50, and so I used to go through there when I'd drive from Missouri to Santa Fe. As I recall, it's kind of on the edge of the Flint Hills. Pretty country, especially when one can get out from under the trees.

Yeah, my friend there has been trying to get me out there for about a year now. I go through ther all the time as well on my trips to NM.

Re: Somewhere to lay your head
That's so funny. They should add that it's a great party house on the description.
