In other vertigo news, apparently the homeopathic vertigo cure gives me some intense dreams. Monday I dreamt I was going to visit my brother in Seattle and found he had founded a technology cult. Complete with a squad of Lieutenants constantly checking data on their iPhones, Blackberries and laptops and figuring out what to report back to their beloved leader. There were also all these little nymphs with clipboards. I'd say waifs as they were all pretty skinny but they were scantily clothed and had a certain fresh scrubbed sexuality about them. They were all drinking latte's and asking me all sorts of questions from the clipboards as if they were trying to categorize me and my friend who was with me. One asked me my religion and I said Shamanist (I know, technically not a religion). She scanned her clipboard and could not find a category for me so she asked the World religions nymph to switch places with her. She found a category for me, smiled a deliciously beguiling smile and went on to query my friend.
We were finally ushered to a special waiting room where we had to state the nature of our visit. It was like trying to get in to see the great and powerful OZ. I don't think we ever did get to see him. For some reason, I didn't find it strange that he was the leader of a cult. I thought the clipboard nymphs were a nice touch.
