The demon is almost dead

Yes I've almost manage to defeat the Demon called "Mechanical Drawing". I swear my job is like a scavenger hunt. Only the goal is to get all the things on the list and not just most of the things. The prize for getting them all? Well I might get a pretty inconsequential raise out of it and at the end someone might pat me on the back and say "Good Job!"

I've just got to finish up an elevation drawing and a plan drawing; find a CAD generated landscape garding drawing; find a color aerial photo of a neighborhood and a corresponding topographic map and get permission to use four electrical schematics from the American National Standards Institute and I will be able to put this one to bed. My fourth book in three years. Then it's on to Carpentry full time again.

I was in here from 8:00 am until 10:55 pm last night and back in at 7:30 this morning. I did about 4 days worth of work today so I'm going to get out of here at 5:30 tonight. Gotta take Jake and head to the farm to swap my car for the big truck so we can haul all of our tables and display materials over to Abingdon tomorrow night for our jewelry sale this weekend.

Just a little bit of stress in my life right now. Nothing I can't handle though I guess. Oh weel, back int othe fray to try and defeat the demon.

Peace,

Wander

I read that second paragraph twice and except for the last two sentences I have absolutely no idea what the hell all this stuff is. Technical stuff...brain shutting down..."Daisy, Daisy..."

Re:
I'd explain it but it's still pretty inconsequential. Basically they are just a bunch of differnt kinds of drawings. Believe me, there are time when i have to look them up too. By the time I finish a book though I feel like an expert. Kind of like the old saying, "Jack of all Trades and Master of none."
