Things

I'm pretty bummed out about George Harrison passing. Not that I was a huge fan of his as a solo artist but the Beatles were a big part of my formative years. And while I never really got too excited about Beatles reunions after John was killed, I guess it was nice to think of certain people still being out there. When John died, a lot of us said it was the end of an era and I think George's death only drives that point home even more. It was always comforting to hear one of George's songs on the radio, with or without the Beatles and it's a sad feeling to think about the songs he still had the potential to make, not being made.

Goodbye George and Godspeed.

Peace,

Wander

WHAT? George Harrison died? I heard he had cancer, but I didn't know it was that serious! Not that I'm a huge Beatles fan, but...damn. How come the good ones always die while the crappy ones stay around to torment us endlessly?

Re:
Life seems to be pretty short for rockers of a certain era too. When you consider that many of Harrison's contemporaries died in their 20's, George was a pretty old man at 58.
