Good ole Country Boy

Waylon Jennings passed away at 64 of complications with diabetes. He seemd like a country music fixture to me. I thought he'd always be around, him and Willie.

"Just a good ole boy. Never doin no harm. Beats all you ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day he was born."

Gotta find my Waylon CD now.

I have fond memories of Waylon from my stint as a C&W DJ on a Dayligth AM station. One of th few country acts I liked att he time.

Oh, and there's a disertation in that - how "modern country" sucks, and why I dislike it. but we can go into that later.

but I ahve to pull out a casette tape, 'cause I dno't ahve Waylon on CD AFAIK.

Re:
Country to me is Hank Williams Sr., Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Waylon, Willie and George Jones. Can't beatthe old standards.
