At least I won something

OK, so Indiana didn't pull the game out but I still won $30 for second place in the office pool. Gorman won the $75 for first and he'll be a pain for the next few days. My home email account is screwing up for some resaon. Wonder if it has something to do with not paying the bill on time? Anyway, if you write me at the frontiernet address and I don't get back to you right away, it may be because I didn't get it yet.

It's raining to day. It's mellowed into a female rain now and may snow but we were awakened this morning by a violent male rain with hail and lightning. Hopefully I'll get some lightning water collected so I can cleanse some stones tonight.

I have to get down to the farm tonight. Our friends Scott and Melissa are getting married on Thursday because Melissa is pregnant. It's not that big a deal. They've been living together for three years and they have another son from that relationship. They just decided it was time. So we are throwing a party/reception for them at the farm on Saturday, complete with fireworks. I need to get a jump on the house cleaning before Saturday though.

Deb and I had a heart to heart last night about intimacy and how we've let stresses from our regular lives take over to the point that it is affecting our sexual intimacy. Don't let that happen.

Trying to get things ready at work for a useless Dog and Pony show we have to do tomorrow for some brass from Ohio. Stupid shit.

The How well do you know Wander contest is going well. A couple of people have almost gotten them all right. I'll call it off before I leave work tonight and declare a winner.

Well time to get to work.

Peace,

Wander

And lo, Maryland wins the NCAA tournament thereby silencing those who claim 'tis biased towards the Cakylacky of the North.

Yeah right. One can always dream right? Here's hoping UNC puts up a fight next year.

Give that rain a kick down here. We're still working with this drought. Nothing bloomed until a couple of weeks ago because it's been so dry the last few years.

That should make it fun for the fireworks. Good thing the fire department is out there to help..

East of Raleigh there really isn't much of a drought. See, hurricanes are good for something.
