Hahahahahah. I love def Leppard. This was actually third for me. I came closest to Bon Jovi who I hated in the 80's and second with Twisted Sister who I actually liked...well a couple of songs anyway...heheheh

I think I've broken my Def Leppard curse. I've turned on the "classic rock" stations at least once a day in the last two months and haven't heard a single one of their songs. Been getting a lot of AC/DC though. I think I was better off with the DL curse.

Re:
Round here you are more likely to get Led Zeppelin on the classic rock stations. The hard rock/alternative station which my neighbor works for tends to play lots of Guns n Roses, Def Leppard and a smattering of things like Ratt, Bullet Boys and Whitesnake. As my neighbor says, people around here just can't get past high school.

I couldn't get past high school fast enough. Still there will always be a soft spot in my heart for mid-'90s alternative rock before all this "extreme" stuff started. Kids these days with their big pants and their Mountain Dew and their "xtreme" music...

Re:
I thought your generation started the big pants thing. My soft spot is for 80's hair bands and of course 60's and 70's classic rock. Back in my day ( I can't beelive I'm saying that) Mt. Dew was pretty much regarded as legal Speed. No one really drank it because they enjoyed it. You drank it to stay up late cramming for exams or if you were on a road trip so you could stay awake. In '86, my brother and I stayed awake from CO to VA subsisting on nothing but Mt. Dew and a case of Almond Joy bars. We were wired for sound pretty much. You back at school now? Is the chemistry geek going to be out at the shoot with us? If so, he will be a spotter.

Yeah, my people (and I use the phrase loosely) started the prison bitch look. We don't mention that in polite company.

I'm actually drinking a Mt. Dew now because that was the only caffine-free soda they had at the Spot and I wanted carbonation. I woke up this morning remembering why I don't drink that lethal yellow brew, but when I got back from class I felt so miserable I decided to make me feel worse and finish the bottle. You'd think I had a death wish. Maybe I'm punishing myself for forgetting the notebook.

I am back at school. What Luke's up to in early May I don't know. That's close to zero hour for EOC's so I'm not to sure on what his schedule's going to be like.

Re:
Well I'll leave Luke up to you then. If he's there he'll get a T-Shirt, if not, you can show your's off and make him jealous. Last week just got too hectic to send the video so I'll send it this week. You are back at school I gather?

They make caffeine free Mt. Dew now? I sometimes drink caffeine free Coke to remind myself of what it used to taste like before I gave up on caffeine.

Yeah, I guess regular was a little to extreme for some whateverboarders. I like caffiene free Pepsi since I discovered I like the taste more than the buzz. Coke makes me sick. Physically sick that is. I don't know what's in that secret formula but it's not for me.

Re:
Maybe since they took the caffeine out they went back to coke's namesake cocaine as the prime ingredient. I don't drink it often because it can make me sick too but I've always been brand loyal to Coke. Pepsi tastes too sweet to me and that is saying something for me. I actually like RC the best but I've not seen a caffeine free variety as of yet.
